About The Briars
Our educators have specialised knowledge and pedagogy that supports our community of learners. We nurture social and emotional connection and communication with children through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Marte Meo. Our professional learning communities enable critical reflection as we strive to provide the best possible outcomes for each child.
At The Briars we empower children to actively learn and connect with their world. Our educators are committed to recognising and nurturing each child’s strengths, interests and needs.
Application
A panel process exists to determine eligibility for enrolment at The Briars.
Children in their eligible preschool year attend the equivalent of 15 hours per week. Attendance is over a 5 day fortnight for the year.
Aboriginal children and those in care can attend 15 hours per week of preschool once they turn 3.
Preschool Sessions run from 9am-3pm
Opening Hours 8am-4pm
